HOW WE OPERATE

The Ecopower consortium operates throughout the national territory collaborating exclusively with the best logistics suppliers and storage facilities, using only Italian foundries with recognised competence, and complying with all regulations to avoid even the smallest dispersion of acids into the environment and to maximise lead recycling.

QUALIFICATION AND CONTROL OF THE SUPPLY CHAIN.

The Ecopower consortium is not a "trader of waste", but rather a system of qualification and control of the supply chain whose ultimate aim is to collect scrap lead batteries and produce recycled lead to be delivered to the members who produce new batteries.

For this reason, it carries out its activities without any logic of profit, maximising the recycling of resources contained in the waste: the scrap lead batteries are collected both in positive market conditions and when lead values according to the London Stock Exchange (LME) are not profitable.

Pick up service is always guaranteed.

ECOPOWER GUARANTEES:

  • only the most qualified transporters in the whole territory;
  • intermediate storage according to quality of service;
  • supervision and organisation of all transportation to the final reclamation destinations (lead factories);
  • lead factories with recognised competence, in compliance with all regulations to avoid leakage of acid into the environment and to maximise the quantity of lead to be recycled;
  • unannounced inspections of suppliers.

THE MANAGEMENT OF THE ECOPOWER CONSORTIUM IS BASED ON

industrial and entrepreneurial logic, with careful research and selection of the best accredited and authorised suppliers, logistics optimisation and cost containment. The aim is to make available to members, and their networks, a system of waste collection which is safe, reliable and competitive.

The service is aimed at all manufacturers of batteries and accumulators and ensures maximum safety and full compliance with environmental and tax regulations.
